Treatment
How Is Keravive™ Performed?
In a 30-60 minute session, your Keravive™ provider will gently pass the device across the scalp, moving through the three modalities for a comprehensive experience.
First, the Keravive™ device will purify the scalp of dead skin cells, excess oil, dirt, and hair products clogging the pores. Next, your provider will help restore lost moisture by administering peptides and crucial nutrients directly into the cleansed scalp. By removing excess dirt, sebum, and skin cells, the skin absorbs the conditioning products more effectively. Lastly, your provider will spray the Keravive™ daily peptide spray throughout the hair and scalp, gently massaging it into the skin.
After your session, you will be given a bottle of the Keravive™ daily peptide spray to apply at home to continually provide your hair with growth factors and nutrients to make this treatment last.
Risks
Are There Risks and Complications with Keravive™?
Keravive™ treatments are gentle and safe for all scalp and hair types, including braids, extensions, locks, and color-treated hair. There are very few if any, side effects associated with Keravive™ treatments; in rare cases, patients may experience some irritation or redness that will subside on its own.
Downtime
Is There Downtime After a Keravive™ Treatment?
There is no downtime associated with Keravive™ treatments. Due to the ease and comfort of this treatment, many patients can schedule their sessions during their lunch breaks or at any convenient time.
Keravive™ Aftercare
After your appointment, your hair should dry naturally to enable the nourishing peptides to soak in, and you should wait at least 6 hours to rewash your hair. Following treatment, you should apply the at-home peptide spray once daily to extend the benefits of the treatment.
Results
When Will I See My Keravive™ Results?
Immediately following your Keravive™ treatments, your scalp and hair will feel incredibly clean and refreshed. Some patients will notice increased hair fullness and shine after just one treatment.
For best results, Keravive™ treatments should be repeated. In most cases, three treatments over three months are ideal, with at-home scalp treatments in between. With adequate treatment, Keravive™ restores the scalp’s pH balance to healthy levels, clears out debris and sebum that clogs pores, and allows healthy natural oils to extend to the length of hair. This treatment keeps the scalp clean and healthy, creating the optimum natural hair growth environment.
